Jean and Jane taught us that all students have the ability to implement Mastering Math strategies using the mathematical language common for all grades and all countries.  We saw an immediate jump in our test scores at all grade levels and we were surprised at the connections that our special education students made using Mastering Math strategies.  I appreciated the extra benefit of having two master teachers model the teaching process for my teachers.
